Honoured to Be a Hunka Relative of the Chief Dan George Family

I have been honoured to know the Chief Dan George family since I first met Son Rueben’s Grandfather Chief Dan in 1978.

Shortly later I met my beloved brother Chief Leonard. Together with the community of Alkali Lake, in 1985 we made the film, The Honour of All, the Story of Alkali Lake. This was followed by Healing the Hurts, that ignited the Residential School Healing Movement.

I am very honoured to become a Hunka member of this beautiful , spiritual family. They have greatly enhanced and uplifted Suthida, Son Tiger and my life.
