https://youtu.be/JznjY-EJTLE With the release of this "Earth Heart" Video today, January 11, 2023, I want to honor my Tahansi Loren, Golden Light Eagle, who started the Star Knowledge Conferences in 1996 on the Ihanktowan Nation in 1996.
Despite vicious attacks from some of our own relatives over the years because of Tahansi's Vision, Understanding, and Action to Unify Our Human Family and the Seen and Unseen Worlds, Tahansi preserved with his Vision of Oneness until he dropped his Robe, July 19, 2021.
It is essential to understand that these attacks, which I know well, were due to intergenerational Trauma and Lateral Violence from the genocide inflicted on Indigenous peoples. Therefore there is no judgment, for we know only hurt people, hurt people, only abused people abuse people, and only colonized people colonize people!
As shared with me by my Grandfather, Vine Deloria Sr., our Ihanktonwan Oyate, the End of the Horn, were known as the Friendly People, the Dreamers, and the Root of the Oceti Sakowin. Tahansi always did his best to walk the Red Road in this manner.
So from today, and every day, I pray with my Tahansi that our Human Family may learn to dance together and remember that Tahansi, Chief Golden Light Eagle, Standing Elk, is dancing beside us, closer than our closest vein!
Ho, Shunk Manu-Chanupa Sapa, He Miyedo!
My names are Horse Thief and Black Pipe, and I stand responsible before our Creator for all my words and Actions!
