After four intense days, beginning with a wonderful day visiting the Indigenous Australian Community of Tabulam, to honor Chief Harry Walker, his beloved wife Annabelle and their community, as well as, to ask permission to walk and pray on their Sacred Lands. We were treated with great hospitality and Love. And Chief Harry and his community members played a key role in Fields of Healing Gathering, November 24-25, 2018.
What brought me heartfelt, healing tears was that my beloved Father always wanted to go to Australia, because they had "good horses!" As we were traveling over the mountain, it was shared that Indigenous Australians of Tabulam, prepared and trained all the horses of 4th Light Horse Brigade, that turned the tide of WW1, with their Calvary Charge on the Ottoman Empire's stronghold of Beersheba.
Thirty-one light horsemen were killed in the charge and Thirty-Eight were wounded. At least 70 horses were killed in the charge. The Turkish defenders suffered many casualties and about 1,000 Turkish troops were captured.
2017 marked the 100th anniversary of the famous mounted charge of the 4th Light Horse Brigade into Beersheba. What is not mentioned in any of the written histories about the Charge of the Light Brigade, is the key role played by Indigenous Australians in breaking and training all the horses of the Light Brigade.
This does not surprise me, as King George III, in 1788, declared Australia, Terra Nullius, empty land, and Indigenous Australians, Fauna (Animals). Just as "British Columbia," the land of our Indigenous relatives of Australia was never ceded nor surrendered by Treaty.
The Government of Australia and the English Crown never apologized for this unjust Declaration and the resulting physical and cultural genocide of our Indigenous Australian Relatives. The only genocidal action that the Australian Government ever apologized for was the "Lost Generation!"
Children of Indigenous Australian and Torres Strait Islander descent were forcefully removed from their families, by the Australian Federal and State governments and Church Missions, under acts of their respective parliaments. But now our Indigenous relatives of Australia and around Mother Earth are spiritually and culturally, supported by rapidly growing Allies of our Human Family, as prophecied!
