Sister Sylvia Demarest has been a key mentor of mine since I begin to work on the impact of Canadian Residential Schools in the 1980s and 1990s.
Sister Sylvia was of great support not only in Canada's Residential Schools but also she spent considerable time as a key legal volunteer in seeing what could be done about what happened to Indigenous peoples in Boarding Schools in the USA.
Sister Sylvia's research and truth are impeccable. There is not one international political leader anywhere, that I know of, that could successfully debate Sister Sylvia.
Sister Sylvia is truth. In the future Sister, Sylvia will be viewed as one of the best Trial Lawyers in US History.
