Honoring Indigenous Spiritual Traditions in the United Religions Initiative

I am very thankful to have been part of the Planning and Charter Development Team that founded the United Religions Initiative (URI) in the late 1990's and a current URI Global Trustee.

From it's very beginning URI has honored Indigenous Spiritual Traditions in the same manner as any other World Religion! Because of this great respect and honor of Indigenous Spiritual Traditions, I travelled every month, without fail, for more than a year, to attend URI Planning and Charter Development meetings at the Presidio in San Francisco!

Since the signing of our URI Charter on June 26, 2000 the global URI organization has grown to 850 Interfaith Cooperation Circles in 93 countries. I am looking forward to seeing the completed Christmas Eve Special!
