Honored to Receive Mountain Voices from Nakota Relative Bill Snow

Very honored to be gifted a copy of Mountain Voices by our Nakota relative, Bill Snow, who is bringing back the buffalo 🦬 relatives, and our sacred teachings and ceremonies.

I know his father, Chief John Snow, who hosted the first spiritual gatherings in Morley, which were key to our spiritual revitalization process. Relative Bill and his brother John Jr. have been planning to hold Spiritual Gatherings at Morley.

The Small Boy Camp was also foundational to the spiritual and cultural awakening of our Indigenous peoples. There are many others, such as Round Lake, Poundmakers, and Alkali Lake.

All these places of spiritual inspiration emerged in the late 60’s and early 1970’s.

Two smiling men hold a copy of the book Mountain Voices in front of a large blue blanket covered in colourful beaded baby moccasin vamps.
