This is just the beginning. I have been working on healing what happened in Canadian Indian Schools since our late Brother Phil Lucas and I made the film, Healing The Hurts with the Community of Alkali Lake in 1986.
We made the film together, The Honor of All, The Story of
Alkali Lake, with the Community of Alkali Lake in 1985, clearly connecting the genocide of Indigenous children in Indian Residential Schools across Canada, and the extreme levels of alcoholism in Indigenous communities across Canada, that has now morphed into an Opioid and Crack Cocaine pandemic.
