Heading to Addis Ababa: Reflections on Colonized Leadership

We are now heading to Addis Ababa. Had a great visit with a brother from Kenya. He told me that colonized leaders in Kenya and most of Africa are worse than the original colonizers. It is true, only colonized people colonize people!

Here are some of our Sisters and Tokoja's of Ethiopia!

An elder woman with deeply lined skin wears layers of colorful beaded necklaces and a beaded ornament on her forehead, outdoors under a blue sky.

A young woman with a beaded headband, silver earrings and a beaded collar looks seriously at the camera.

A young woman wearing many strands of white, blue, green and red beaded necklaces stands outdoors in a hide garment.

A young girl with dark hair smiles softly in front of a stone wall.

A smiling young woman with long dark hair and large earrings sits in front of a brick wall.

A young woman wearing a gray hooded scarf draped around her head and shoulders gazes calmly at the camera.

Three smiling young people pose close together at an outdoor gathering; one wears a white head wrap and facial tattoos, another a light blue headscarf.
