One of the great spiritual teachers I have been blessed to have a teacher in my life is Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. I met her in her Ashram in the Catskills in August 1985.
She truly walks with the Spirit. Chanting and meditating with Gurumayi transcends the murmur of syllables and sounds and the world of names. Thank you, Gurumayi, for all your love, support, and spiritual teachings over the years.
My beloved father who stayed in her Ashram with me as her guest, told me she was a saint. And my father who was raised my by my Great-Grandfather, Tipi Sapa, Philip J. Deloria, who statue is in the High Altar of National Cathedral in Washington, DC, as one of the Saints of Ages knew what a Saint is.
