The oldest elder who will be joining our Gathering of the Union of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal, and Eagle, March 17-22, 2024, at Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, is Grand Elder Marceliano Jerone-Grandfather Green Tobacco, Kanangucho Clan of the Murui-Muina Peoples of the Columbian Amazon, who is 100 years of age. The Patrick McCollum Foundation is sponsoring his trip.
When Grandfather Green Tobacco was invited to travel to Palenque, Mexico, he said, “ I am very happy to make this last long journey on Mother Earth. When I return home, I will leave this world and go home to be with my ancestors.”
