Very thankful! Beloved Son Tiger, out of the clear blue sky, just received a UBC Presidential Scholars Award, of $8000.00 This is not a Scholarship Tiger applied for. This is awarded by the UBC Presidential Office to the most outstanding students entering UBC.
For those relatives that tell me that I brag too much about my children, grandchildren, and other relatives, and need to more humble, my perspective is this:
Our Beloved Creator's Sacred Teachings, that I have ever experienced for 75 winters, instruct us to always fill our lips with the praise of the goodness and beauty that we all have been given by the Grace and Unfailing Love of Our Beloved Creator! If a relative has ten bad qualities and one good quality, look at the good. If a relative has ten good qualities and one bad, look at the good!
So, from where I am coming from I am going continue to express my utmost heartfelt thanksgiving and praise to Our Creator of All Things, for the Great Gifts of our Beloved Creator has given to each and every one of us. If my actions of praise and thanksgiving seem egotistical to any relatives, please pray for me, that I may better Serve the Creator, my Tiospayes and the Oyate of our Human Family, in a better and better way.
