In 1953 there was a great flood in the Netherlands. My beloved father shared this tragedy with me, from the perspective of a boy my age.
So I gathered up my best toys, and we packed them in a box and sent them to the Netherlands, with the request that is given to a boy my age.
My father always shared with me, that we, Dakotas, and Lakotas, always give our very best. This is what the Community of Wakpala, on the Standing Rock, where my father was born,
Three months later a box arrived from Rotterdam from a boy my age, Hans Grutmeier.
There were Wooden Shoes, Dutch chocolates, and, toys for me, Tulip 🌷 bulbs for my Beloved Mother, and a big bottle of Dutch Beer for my beloved father.
When I hitchhiked, in 1962, from Walla Walla to New York, across the Atlantic, and across Europe, for almost a year, I stopped in Rotterdam on my way to London and had a wonderful dinner with Hans and his family.
In 1995, I met a wonderful Dutch brother, Fred Master, at the State of the World Forum, in San Francisco, who then introduced me to sister Karin her beloved husband, Peter, their beloved daughter Charlie, and siblings, Brother Bernhard Holtrop, Anke de Jong, her dear brother, Jelle, and so many other beloved Dutch and German relatives.
Led by Sister Karin, after 20 years,, Four Worlds Europe, the Sacred Circle ⭕ of Indigenous Women, and many Grandmothers Circles of Europe have been formed and continue to grow 🪴 in spiritual happiness, strength, and reach.
Sister Karin and our relatives of the Netherlands have done this without any outside funding. And Sister Karin, her beloved husband, Peter, and all our beloved tribal relatives of the Netherlands of Europe continue to unify and arise!
