From Beijing: The Help Foundation and China's Indigenous Peoples

In the Beijing Airport, with my Tonja Sophia and Tonska Dan, after giving the Keynote at the Opening Ceremonies of the Help Foundation, where I serve as International Advisor.

The Help Foundation is dedicated to providing Stem Cell Treatment to Children who can't afford it. Next stop, Paris France for COP 21.

Over the past 25 years, I have found the Chinese relatives I have been working with to be very warm-hearted, generous, hospitable and loving. With a population of more than 1.5 Billion I have only interacted with a very small fraction of the population, but for instance, in Beijing, with a population of more that 20 million, where I have travelled extensively, I have never been treated disrespectfully or seen a police officer. This my experience and perspective.

Most westerners do not realize that there are 55 different Indigenous peoples in China, who speak their own unique languages and have their own unique cultures and autonomous territories. The Indigenous peoples of China are almost 10% ( 150 million) of the overall Han Chinese population.
