Four Worlds partners in Mexico 🇲🇽 who are uniting our 25 Million Indigenous relatives and 5 Million Afro-Mexicanos. There are 8 million Indigenous peoples in Canada and the US.
In the Americas there are 80 million Indigenous peoples by UN standards. But this does not reflect the reality that is unfolding!
For instance, in Mexico less than 10% of the population is of European origin. The rest of Mexico’s population are are mestizos with Indigenous ancestry.
And everywhere in the Americas, especially mestizos, are reclaiming their Indigenous background! So 80 million Indigenous peoples are just the tip of the iceberg of the Indigenous spirit that is rising throughout the Americas and beyond, everywhere, all at once!
