Forgiveness and the Sacred Teachings
Forgiveness is viewed as a sacred and transformative process in the Sacred Teachings. When we violate these Sacred Teachings, we become disconnected from the Great Spirit, the source of all Compassion, Mercy, and Forgiveness. However, our disconnection is not met with disdain or humiliation by our Creator, the Ever-Forgiving. Instead, Forgiveness is a Sacred Opportunity to seek Reconciliation and Healing.
In our Creator's Infinite Compassion, Love, and Wisdom, the Great Spirit does not wish to see us humiliated by having to confess to someone our transgressions. This does not lead to Divine Forgiveness. Instead, our Higher Power calls upon us to approach the Great Spirit with the utmost humility and sincerity and seek with all our being Divine Forgiveness.
This Sacred Way aligns with our understanding that our Creator embodies boundless Compassion, Mercy, and Forgiveness.
Emotional Perspective and the Art of Letting Go
Understanding that our Great Spirit does not wish the humiliation brings profound emotional relief and comfort. Forgiveness is not about dwelling in guilt and shame. It is a Sacred Invitation to let go of these burdens and find joy and happiness in our Creator's never-ending Love, Compassion, kindness, and Forgiveness.
This spiritual understanding empowers us to seek Forgiveness with a heart full of hope and trust in the Sacred Love and Benevolence of the Great Spirit.
By recognizing the Great Spirit's Sacred Being as the most Compassionate, Merciful, and Ever-Forgiving, we will be empowered to extend this same Compassion, Mercy, and Forgiveness to ourselves and others. We will understand that Divine Forgiveness is always available to all who sincerely seek it, without the need for public displays of shame or humiliation.
This realization fosters emotional healing and empowers us to extend Forgiveness to others with empathy and understanding.
Intellectual Perspective and the Power of Self-Reflection
The understanding that our Creator is the Epitome of Compassion and Mercy profoundly shapes the intellectual perspective on Forgiveness. This recognition inspires us to self-reflect, examine our actions, and seek understanding without harsh self-criticism.
We cultivate intellectual humility by recognizing the Great Spirit's desire for our well-being and growth rather than humiliation. We accept our imperfections gracefully and use them
as stepping stones toward spiritual growth. The process of seeking Forgiveness becomes an opportunity for learning and inner transformation, guided by the principles of compassion and mercy.
The Physical Perspective and Empathy Towards Others
The understanding that our Great Spirit does not desire the humiliation of His servants also shapes how we interact with others in the physical realm. In our journey of seeking Forgiveness, we learn to treat others with empathy and kindness, understanding that they, too, are navigating their own spiritual paths.
We extend the same compassion and mercy to others as we expect from the Great Spirit. This mindset allows us to support and uplift one another, promoting an environment of understanding and Forgiveness. Rather than focusing on public confession and humiliation, we foster a culture of healing and growth through genuine empathy and compassion.
Our Great Spirit does not wish the humiliation of our Human Family. Understanding our Creator is the most Compassionate, Merciful, and Ever-Forgiving breathes new life into the concept of Forgiveness within the Sacred Teachings. Seeking Forgiveness from the Great Spirit becomes an act of Divine Connection and Inner Transformation rooted in Compassion and Mercy.
This profound understanding extends to our emotional, intellectual, and physical perspectives on Forgiveness. It liberates us from the chains of shame and guilt, empowering us to embrace our imperfections and extend Forgiveness to ourselves and others with empathy and understanding. In this Sacred Journey of Forgiveness, we find solace in the Loving Embrace of the Great Spirit, who guides and inspires us toward a Life of Joy, happiness, Spiritual Growth, Compassion, and Love.
At the same time, we must always do our very best to remember that each of us is fully responsible for our words and actions, as well as thier results and outcomes.
This is my best understanding of Divine Forgiveness as I enter my 80th Year.
Shunkmanu He Me Yedo and Chanupa Sapa He Me Yedo!
