Our Fire Keeper , Tokoja Mato White Plume, from Pine Ridge, Grandson of brother Alex White Plume and Grandmother Debra.

Tokoja Mato has been a great job representing the 7th generation of Pine Ridge and the Oceti Sakowin!

A young man in glasses kneels beside a burning fire pit on a grassy field, tending the fire, as a crowd of people sits and stands behind him watching in evening sunlight.
