For almost 50 years it has been my great love, inspiration and honor to Walk the Red Road with my Beloved Brother Lee Brown! While being gifted in many ways as a traditional singer, potter, story teller, and ceremonial leader, Brother Lee has a great sense of humor! You can't help but laugh with someone who loves to laugh at their own jokes.
When he was about 55, Brother Lee told me he received a spiritual message that he should go to the University of British Columbia and get his PHD. I said go for it, brother. Not only did he get his PHD, in the area of Emotional Competence, he is a world leader in that area of study.. In fact, I know no one in the Academic World that can compare with his knowledge, practice or wisdom in this area of academia. Brother Lee is the world leader.
One of the greatest reflections of Brother Lee's love and his most precious gifts to the world are his wonderful, talented and loving daughters, Dina Brown, Viola Brown-Peoples and Dr. Julia Ann Brown MD. Keep on laughing brother, we love you!
