Faithful Spirits Become the Unseen Leaven of the World

I know, deep in my heart, that when we walk in a good way, when we live in alignment with Wakan Tanka, the Great Mystery, the Creative Force, our Creator, the Maker of All Good Things, our spirit does not wander without purpose. It returns. It is gathered back into that sacred wholeness from which it came.

This is not a distant promise, but a living truth. The spirit that walks with integrity, humility, and courage along the path given to it is carried home into a beauty and a power beyond what words can hold.

I feel that such a spirit, once it crosses over to the Other Side Camp, does not become silent or separate. It becomes stronger, more alive in another way. It becomes a helper. It becomes a source of life for all our relations.

Through the will of the Great Mystery, that spirit continues to serve, to nourish, to uplift our Human Family and Mother Earth. It becomes a sacred force, moving quietly through all things, guiding, strengthening, and bringing forward what is needed for balance and harmony.

I see it like this: just as the people prepare food and know that without the leaven the bread will not rise, so too are these faithful spirits the unseen leaven of the world. They are the ones who help life grow.

They are the quiet power behind creativity, healing, wisdom, and the unfolding of what is good. Their strength does not come from holding on, but from letting go, from living in a state of detachment, trusting fully in Wakan Tanka.

So I remind myself to walk in that way now, while I am here. To live with gratitude. To live with steadiness. To live with love for all my relations. Because this path does not end, it deepens. And those who remain true become part of that great movement of spirit that continues to lift the world.

For this, I give thanks.
