Evening Prayers at the Fatima Mosque in Ajman

We had great evening prayers, at the Fatima Mosque, in the Emirate of Ajman, with my good Brother, HH Shiekh Abdul Aziz. The other brother, in the second picture, with our arms around each other, was praying beside us. After the prayers, he gave us all candy. Everyone was laughing, in a good way, because they said we looked alike. Tonska Ben Bowler joined us for prayers, as well. The Spirit of Love of our Creator was strongly present.

Before you pray, five times a day, you must go through a full ceremonial cleaning. First, you thoroughly wash your hands, your arms, your face, and eyes, your head, your nose by drawing water into your nose three times and expelling it out, then you thoroughly wash out your mouth and finally each foot. I was surprised I could still lift each of my feet and put them each in the sink for washing. Then very clean and ready to pray.

Smoking cigarettes, as is publically scorned and alcohol or any other intoxicating drug, is forbidden. Their goal is freedom from all except God! How many Christians are this devoted to their payers, to ensuring they are physically clean before they approach the Great Spirit, Wakan Tanka, to pray five times a day. Both Tonska Ben Bowler and I were received at the Mosque with the utmost love and respect! Not one "look " like we should not be present. Ben is a very devout Christian, but we share the same teaching;

Koda Darcy Demas wanted to join us but had stomach cramps and a cultural presentation later in the evening and needed to rest!
