Every morning and evening I have an intensive Epsom Salt Bath for about 20-30 Minutes. Then I close the shower curtain and have a very cold shower for 3-5 minutes.
The Epsom Salt sucks out your body's impurities, as well as the extreme heat and resulting pounds of sweat released, along with toxins. Also, when you get used to them, ice-cold showers are very invigorating and motivating.
If you have not done this before take it slow and easy and drink lots of water. Also, check the price of Epsom Salt at several different places, as the difference in cost of the same amount of pure Epsom salts varies greatly from store to store. The scented Epsom salts cost about 30 % more but don't really add to improving your health.
Have a wonderful day!
Western Science is finally understanding what Indigenous peoples always have always known and practiced like fasting, and the positive impact of extreme heat and cold on the strength and health of our bodies, like having a Sweat Lodge and then bathing in glacier water.
An Ihanktonwan health practice was to begin immersing from the time of birth in cold running water. If the water, stream, or body of water, a hole would be made in the ice, and the baby
would be bathed in the cold water through the hole.
This was to prepare the child to live in the extreme weather they would encounter and to be able live under difficult conditions, if necessary.
Weight lifting is based on the same principle. By pushing your muscles to their limits, regularly with time to recover, you grow.
