When life's foundation weakens, everything built on it becomes unstable. Every economy, community, government, and investment ultimately depends upon the living systems of our Mother Earth. When that foundation is damaged, the consequences move through the entire system: ecological decline becomes scarcity, scarcity becomes economic pressure, economic pressure becomes social unrest, and social unrest becomes political and financial instability. No market can remain strong for long upon a wounded Earth. To protect enduring prosperity, we must first protect and restore life's foundations.
