Understanding our collective destiny as a Human Family becomes ever more urgent as the light of moral integrity dims in the increasing clamor of religious, political, economic, and social conflict and discord. Fifty years ago, the path between the Red Road and Black Road seemed clear, but today, it's clouded, at the core, by the deepening clash of competing economic and partisan political interests.
It is time to Unite Humanity and Restore Mother Earth. The time has come for an Indigenous and Ally-led Global Peace Movement, beginning in the Americas. As Elders said in Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, where this Movement for Peace was ignited with the Lighting of the 8th Fire on March 21, 2024, “ What right do we have to go to the home of another relative and tell them how to live when our home is dirty,unhealthy and disintegrating?”
On Saturday, May 25th, we will have a Sacred Council with Elders and Wisdom Keepers from the Okanagan and the Shuswap Nations to make our Sacred Covenant to Unite Humanity and Restore Mother Earth. Then, in unity, we will unite with our Allies on Sunday.
