East Side Smudge Ceremony at Main and Hastings, June 2010

With Brother Robert Nahanee and his beloved wife, Judy Bob at the East Side Smudge Ceremony seven years ago, June 20, 2010! Koda Darcy Demas and the Ocean Side Dakota Drum were our drummers. The four year Ceremonial Process was wonderfully organized by Darla Goodwin and her team of Indigenous women. All members of the Human Family were symbolically honored of the Four Directions of the Sacred Circle, Red, Yellow, Black and White at the intersection of Main and Hastings! Pictures and a video.
