Dear Beloved Friends and Relatives of the Native American Bahá'ís and Friends,
We pray you and your loved ones are blessed with health and happiness.
I sincerely thank everyone who shared feedback on my recent post. Your insights are invaluable, and I am profoundly thankful for your contributions.
Your diverse perspectives have enriched my spiritual journey, embodying the truth of Abdu'l-Bahá's wisdom: "The shining spark of truth cometh forth only after the clash of differing opinions." This principle lies at the heart of our communities, where respectful discourse and diverse viewpoints are welcomed and celebrated.
For those who may not have reflected on 'Abdu'l-Bahá's prophecy regarding the spiritual destiny of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas in the Tablets of the Divine Plan, I encourage you to explore it when you can. It is very significant, particularly considering the vast difference in Indigenous peoples' spiritual and cultural conditions between 1916 and 2024.
What was once a time of despair and cultural genocide has transformed into a new spiritual springtime, a profound testament to the resilience and enduring spirit of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas.
The Bahá'í support for the fulfillment of 'Abdu'l-Bahá's prophecy, including the full support of Guardian Shoghi Effendi, his beloved wife, Ruhiyyih Khanum, Universal House of Justice Member, Ali Nakhjavani and his Beloved Wife Violet, and many other distinguished Baha'i Elders, is a sacred commitment to unity, justice, and the illumination of the human spirit. It is a call to action for all Bahá'ís to assist in empowering Indigenous communities across the Americas, supporting them as they emerge as sacred fires of light and wisdom spiritually prepared to lead the world into a new era of peace and enlightenment.
The journey toward peace, as envisioned by the Bahá'í Faith, interweaves seamlessly with the sacred prophecies of Indigenous peoples. The Lesser Peace, marked by political unity and international cooperation to end war, is complemented by the spiritual and moral transformation heralded by the Most Great Peace. Indigenous wisdom is pivotal in every dimension of this vision, offering essential insights into creating a global civilization grounded in divine principles based on justice.
Our path forward is clear: integrating Bahá'í principles with Indigenous prophecies, creating a dynamic and unified approach to achieving both the Lesser and Most Great Peace. We will fulfill our shared sacred vision by supporting Indigenous leadership and embracing their spiritual wisdom.
This commitment to unity, justice, and spiritual enlightenment fulfills many prophecies and is a testament to the transformative power of diverse spiritual traditions working in harmony.
The Bahá'í Institutions of Canada, Europe, and the USA are vital in supporting Indigenous communities as they assert their spiritual leadership. This support involves recognizing and integrating Indigenous prophecies and spiritual perspectives into the global dialogue on peace. By creating platforms where Indigenous voices lead discussions on international law and global policy, these institutions provide essential support and resources for Indigenous leadership to flourish.
This journey towards peace requires dedicated education and spiritual enlightenment efforts within Indigenous communities. It is essential to preserve Indigenous languages and traditions and integrate them into global educational curricula. The Bahá'í community's role is to facilitate opportunities that respect and uplift Indigenous spirituality, fostering an environment where
Indigenous wisdom guides the global pursuit of unity and peace.
Local Spiritual Assemblies (LSAs) in Canada, Europe, the USA, and Latin America are uniquely positioned to nurture this spiritual partnership by participating in, when invited, and financially supporting Indigenous spiritual activities, such as Pow Wows, Sundances, Moon Dances, and other Indigenous spiritual, cultural, and educational initiatives across the Americas. Who will be the first LSA to do so?
National Spiritual Assemblies (NSAs) in Canada, Europe, the USA, and Latin America can unify thier physical and spiritual resources to support the full manifestation of the Union of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal, and Eagle established in Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, March 21, 2023, as profecied.
NSAs and LSAs can foster mutual respect and understanding, aligning with the Bahá'í teachings on unity and intercultural appreciation. All support must adhere strictly to the Bahá'í principle of non-proselytization, ensuring that all support and assistance is given purely out of respect for Indigenous spiritual values, not as a means of conversion.
Together, in unity and with a shared vision, we can move forward, empowered by the wisdom of our diverse spiritual traditions and guided by a commitment to justice, peace, and the illumination of the human spirit.
With Warm and Loving Greetings,
Dekshi and Brother Phil
