Ayyam-i-Ha, or the Intercalary Days, is a period dedicated to socializing, being hospitable, giving generously to the poor and needy, and preparing for the upcoming month of 19 days of fasting.
Depending on the year, in 2021 it is February 24-28, Ayyam-i-Ha will vary in its duration and it is composed of the excess of days that fall outside of the 19 months of 19 days of the Baha'i Calendar.
The Baha'i Faith and the Church of the Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) are the two fastest-growing Faiths on Mother Earth. Both focus on community-building, and the majority of their members in the Americas are Indigenous peoples. 1844 is a very important year for both Faiths.
Along with Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Sikhs, other Christian Faiths, Moslems, Sufis, Indigenous peoples, and others who are not part of any organized religions, I have had the honor and privilege to meet in my journeys around Mother Earth, I have found the Baha'is and Mormons to equally be very loving, kind, compassionate, just and spiritual relatives.
This is with the understanding that none of us is perfect and we are all in the process of being spiritually perfected, whether we know and accept it or not.
From my perspective, the foundation of World Peace, so many members of our Human Family have longed for is the spiritual understanding of the Prior Unity and Oneness and Unity of our Human Family and the Hurt of One is the Hurt of All, and the Honor of One is the Honor of All.
This is my understanding as an Indigenous Human Being of Mother Earth and the Stars, in my very short 76 winter journey in the physical plane of time and space.
Any and all perspectives are welcomed! I am always doing my best to find the light. I do not care what the lampshade looks like.
