As a Tenured Faculty Member at the University of Lethbridge from 1980 -1996, I can testify and have documented that some roots of this go bak to 1950, the beginning of Jerry Dawson and his boys at St.Mary's Residential School on the Blood Reserve and continues until today, across the Blackfoot Confederacy and beyond.
