It's been a great visit and inspiration to see the first wave of Aboriginal young people complete their Pre-departure Training Program this week in Ottawa. On Sunday they (10) travel to Guyana via Trinadad!
Next week more young people will complete the International Preperation Training Program in Montreal and Nova Scotia and then go to Bolivia, the Phillipines, Butan, Ethiopia and Peru. In the following weeks other participants will do the same in other locations, including Victoria, Vancouver , Calagary, Winnepeg, Toronto and Ottawa and travel to more and different countries.
The International Aboriginal Youth Internship program consist of a two-month period in Canada and a four-month period spent in a developing country working on issues such as equality between men and women, the environment, health, education, small business development, agriculture and connecting and sharing with other Indigenous Peoples! The next phase of the program to train and provide this same international experieces to our young people will begin in June! I will keep you up-to-date on FWII , if you know young people , 18-35, who may be interested in International work and travel.
Our Indigenous peoples, via the 7th Generation, are advancing into international service and leadership, as promised! We have a lot to share and learn! Thank you Creator!
