A Visit with Unchi Rita Long Visitor Holy Dance at the IILG

· Reflection

Enjoyed a good visit with Unchi Rita Long Visitor Holy Dance and her beloved son at the 9th Annual International Indigenous Leadership Gathering ( IILG ) at Lillooet, BC. Unchi Rita is Oglala Lakota from Pine Ridge and one of the Thirteen Grandmothers attending the IILG.

Three people stand together in a gymnasium: an elderly woman wrapped in a blue patterned blanket, a smiling white-haired man in a turquoise bolo tie, and a man with long gray hair and glasses.
