Tahansi Virgil and I had a good visit this afteroo. Our visit spanned many generations from Pizi,, Tipi Sapa, and Tatank Yotanka, to the early 1980's when we Sund Danced together with Leksi Pete Catches, to good memories with Tahansi i Kevin Locke and other relatives who are on the Other Side Camp
We shared some good stories of thre past and possibilities of the future. Two hours went like five minutes. It was one of those moments when there is no time. .
Most importantly we agreed that this is the long-prophecied time to stand up in our sovereignty and unify. We fully agreed on the Top-Down-Bottom-Up approach.and the support needed for the 7th Generation, especially young mothers and fathers and thier newborns,, and young children, as well as, the role ceremonies play in grounding newborns to Mother Eath and their communities.
