Great weekend visit with another Deloria/Hinhan Wicasa Tiospaye relative, Tahansi Julian O. Boucher, Maza Adidi, Walks On Iron, a Sisseton Wahpeton Dakota. Tahansi Julian is one of three Oceti Sakowin Master Tipi Makers left and is an annual Dakota 38 rider, that honors all our relatives who were hung in Mankato. He lives in Minnesota and drove the Tipi Poles and two 18 ft. Tipis that he made to the Rosebud Consortium here in Tampa. I have never seen anyone so gracefully put up a Tipi' with such speed and precision!
